General Membership

1.1 Eligibility: Membership is open to all students of APSACS who have an interest in science, technology, engineering, robotics, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning (ML).
1.2 Conduct: Members are expected to behave respectfully and professionally during all club activities, both online and in-person. Any form of discrimination, harassment, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
1.3 Attendance: Regular attendance at meetings and participation in club events, hackathons, and workshops is encouraged to maintain active membership.

2.1 Educational Purposes: The APSACS Science and Robotics Club is dedicated to providing educational opportunities, including workshops, hackathons, and coding camps. Resources shared within the club are strictly for educational and non-commercial use.
2.2 Intellectual Property: Any projects, ideas, or code created during club activities remain the property of the creators. However, the club reserves the right to use these materials for promotional or educational purposes with due credit to the creators.

2.3 Safety and Equipment: When handling equipment or participating in hands-on activities, members are required to follow safety guidelines provided by the club facilitators. Mishandling equipment or violation of safety protocols may result in suspension from club activities.

3.1 Use of Technology: Members are expected to use club-provided technology and resources responsibly. Misuse of computers, robotics kits, or other equipment may result in restricted access.

3.2 Content Sharing: Any content, including code, documentation, or presentations shared within the club, should respect intellectual property laws. Members must not upload, share, or distribute content without proper authorization or rights.

Club Leadership and Decision-Making

4.1 Club President and Leadership: The club is led by a President and a team of facilitators. All major decisions, including event planning, project selection, and resource allocation, are made by the leadership team with input from club members.

4.2 Feedback: Members are encouraged to provide feedback or suggestions to the club leadership. Any concerns or disputes should be addressed through appropriate channels in a respectful manner.

5.1 Online Behavior: The APSACS Science and Robotics Club may use online platforms (such as websites, forums, or social media) for communication and collaboration. Members are expected to maintain appropriate and respectful language and behavior online.

5.2 Cybersecurity: Members must refrain from any malicious activities, such as hacking, data breaches, or spamming, on club platforms or external systems. Violating these rules will result in immediate suspension from the club and potential disciplinary action.

Termination of Membership

6.1 Voluntary Termination: Members may choose to leave the club at any time by informing the leadership team.

6.2 Involuntary Termination: The club reserves the right to terminate the membership of individuals who violate these terms or engage in conduct detrimental to the club's values and mission.

How can I become a member?

Membership is open to all APSACS students. Just have the burning ambition to turn the tides in science and tech fields.

What is the privacy policy?

Your private data is a gem cocooned in a fortress, never to be misused for ulterior motives. We might use your radiant images for promotional purposes though. Lucky you!

What are the rules for online behavior?

The cyber world is our second playground. Play nice, don’t spam, don’t snoop. Breach these rules, and we bulldoze you out of the club!

How can I leave the club?

Should you ever want to bid us adieu (though why would you?), just give the leadership team a shout.
